# Content Takedown Policy Version 1.0 ยท Effective 2026-10-11 SkillBraid respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content on SkillBraid infringes your rights, tell us. ## Send a notice Email **info@skillbraid.com** with the subject "Takedown". Include: 1. Your name and contact details. 2. The work you say is infringed, and proof that you own it or are authorised to act for the owner. 3. The URL or skill identifier of the content you want removed. 4. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law. 5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them. 6. Your signature (a typed full name is fine). Incomplete notices may be delayed while we ask for more information. Knowingly false notices can carry legal liability. ## What we do - We aim to review and act on a complete notice within **72 hours**. - We may remove or disable the content and reverse related credits. - We will notify the contributor and share the notice details, which may include your name and contact details. ## Counter-notice If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or you have the right to use it, email info@skillbraid.com with: 1. Your name, contact details and the removed content's URL or identifier. 2. Why you believe it was removed in error (for example a licence, permission or that it is your own work). 3. A statement that your claim is made in good faith and the information is accurate. 4. Your signature. We will send your counter-notice to the complainant. If they do not tell us within 10 business days that they have started legal action, we may restore the content. ## Repeat infringers Accounts that repeatedly infringe may be suspended or terminated under the Acceptable Use Policy. ## Imported content Skills imported from other sources keep their original licence and attribution. If you are the original author and an import is wrong or unwanted, use this process.
